Roger Kent

Senior Project Manager


Major Roger Kent (Royal Engineers) is a Rolls Royce graduate engineer apprentice and has worked as a development manager on what are today the world’s leading aero engines.

Joining the UK’s state electricity industry in the 1970′s Roger performed many project management roles in the industry, including a management role in the spectacular full scale 125mph train test crash into a nuclear fuel container. Roger and Mike (The Greenheart Chairman) have worked together for 20 years delivering major energy infrastructure projects in the UK, Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas.

As part of the Territorial Army reserve, Roger has served in the Royal Engineers since the 1970′s, retiring as second in command of the Royal Monmouthshire Royal Engineers. He is a trained paratrooper and recently completed numerous parachute drops as part of the World War 2 events staged at Arnhem last year.
